Teriyaki Shrimp Stir-fry
Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the onion and fry it for about 5 minutes, or until it's tender. Add the shrimp and vegetables and water. Cover the pot and allow the shrimp and veggies to steam for 5 to 7 minutes, or until tender-crisp. Remove the lid. Add the brown sugar and Teriyaki Sauce. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until the sauce is slightly thickened. Serve over cooked rice. Makes about 4 servings. Start the rice before you start the stir-fry. Then they will both finish cooking at about the same time. Super Easy Homemade Teriyaki Sauce
Combine all of the ingredients in a clean jar. Screw on the lid and shake vigorously. Use anywhere you would normally use store-bought Teriyaki sauce. Store leftovers in the fridge for a few months. Makes about 1-cup.
